Chestnut visit
Chestnut Visit to West Stow
Chestnut class had a wonderful time at West Stow on Friday. We started our day by handling replica artefacts and sharing information with each other on what we had found out. Next we were able to spend some time in the Anglo-Saxon museum. The children enjoyed the interactive resources and learnt a lot about Anglo-Saxon life. Finally we explored the Anglo-Saxon village. We were able to go inside different replica Anglo-Saxon buildings and discover what the different uses were for all of them. The children's behaviour was exemplary and the weather was glorious; a fantastic time was had by all.
