A Muslim visitor in Key Stage 2
Chestnut and Sycamore class had a visit from Mr Mo, a practising Muslim. He talked about the importance of prayer and how the Qur'an is treated.
Mr Mo Spoke about Salat which is where Muslims pray 5 times a day. He showed us how Muslims prepare for prayer by ceremonial washing (Wudu). He talked about needing to face the Ka'bah to pray.
