To start of the morning, the children were lucky enough to spend time online with an award winning author- Tola Okogwu. During this online session, the children were taken through Tola's writing process and were able to work with her to refine ideas for a story about a superhero. Next, the children worked in mixed age groups, using the same writing process to come up with a superhero story of their own. The inspiring session from Tola ensured a buzz in the classroom as the children busily began writing down their own ideas.
