Tractors into Schools Week

As part of Suffolk Agricultural association's tractors into schools initiative, we were lucky enough to have Farmer Sam from Broughton Hall Farm come into school today. To start the school day off, Sam joined us in collective worship to show us a range of different photos that illustrated the changes in farming over the last 100 years. The children found these photos very interesting and were able to ask Farmer Sam questions about farming today. After collective worship, each class was able to go outside and look at one of Sam's tractors. Each child got to sit inside the tractor and ask Sam farming questions that linked to their current curriculum subjects. A huge thank you to Farmer Sam for giving up his time to visit us today- it was very inspiring for all involved.
